Ok, then...
C'mon, let's go!
Starting this season's opening Match Thread-proper nice and early to allow plenty of time for those pre-match hopes and fears - not mention those post-match theories and rants.
You know what to do. Don't pull your punches...

As is customary with County, the fans get more and more excited and optimistic over the summer, only to have their hopes dashed early on.
I have a generally good feeling about this season, but the team are still newly-assembled, so I'll go for 1-1, and I'd be quite happy with that.

1-2 on this one. We aren't the finished article yet. Would love to be proved wrong however. Boston were a handful last season at the Jakemans & had several 5-0's...
Attendance 3200 with 150 pilgrims
Sure we will create many chances... but slightly worried about our conversion rate..

As usual I get all excited about the up coming season over the summer and as the friendlies roll by and as much as I think we are going to have a good season I cant see anything other than a Boston win unfortunately. I'll say 0-2 but i'll gladly be proven wrong by the boys!

1-0 to the county based on the fact that we aren't scoring too many but are quite tight at the back.
boston battered us at their place last season, but this is new county (new danger).
3,617; boosted by 245 from boston, and episode VI: a new hope...

A positive 2-1 full of hope and excitement, trying to work out who is who. Wearing my new shirt, discussing which away games to pencil in. A lousy pint in the oak, a pie and coffee, the smell of the turf......
The beer will be in the fridge and the family won't dare speak to me for a few hours when I get home after my hopes are dashed.
Oh the ups and downs of the football season! COME ON COUNTY! !!

Less than 72 hours to go to kick off - I know I shall be in South wales but I shall use Maccy's tweets to keep up with all the action. 3-1 home win with 2757 at the game

2-0 to County a shaky start but then a solid display. Goals from Odejayi and O'Hanlon. Att 3495 (300 Pilgrims).
