Not content with killing satire, these muppets think they look good doing this. And as for Raab’s question… This is the same man who described the typical food bank user as ‘someone who has a cashflow problem episodically’. A man who described feminists thus, “Feminists are now amongst the most obnoxious bigots..." His contempt for the British worker is clear “Once they enter the workplace, the British are among the worst idlers in the world". And just in case that really wasn't clear enough to those who repeatedly vote for him, he went on without reference to a single statistic or fact that "Too many people in Britain prefer a lie-in to hard work.” He described taking the knee as an act of subordination which originated in the TV show Game of Thrones. Famously of course he declared with all the innocence of the genuinely stupid that he had no idea that Dover played such an important role in this country's trade with its biggest trading partner. To be fair to him with respect to the latter point, as a Brexiteer he probably had the inside track on the fact that the Tories were about to make trading with our biggest trade partner all the more difficult by assaulting the rights and obligations that the EU insist countries with whom they do trade deals maintain. Raab gives the impression that he is one of those who maintains a leading position in the Government merely because his grasp of fact and reality is so tenuous he contrives to make even Johnson look competent.

I am genuinely f***ing astonished.
Whenever I see that fat, lying, useless oaf out and about on TV, I really do wish that somebody hijacks the piece to punch him in the face.

www.independent.co.uk/voices/boris-johnson-universal-credit-cut-b1926138.htmlYet enough idiots still vote for him, and still would if an election was held tomorrow - let's have a big hand for the idiots! To all those nicely comfortable people in the middle who think "It's not affecting me, so f*** it" - once he's hammered the poor and the working class until they've got nothing left to give (which won't take much longer at this rate), whose pockets do you think he's going to pick next?

Weird isn't it? Why would they support a Government whose senior members have described them as amongst the worst idlers in the world, yes, that's Patel, Kwarteng, Raab, Truss et al. Surely, the idea of Raab calling out anyone for being lazy is f***ing satire, no? Why would anyone think it unacceptable to support the unemployed and low paid workers (and for information, a significant number of benefit claimants are in work) and yet acceptable to hand cash to a failing US owned business that can't pay it's gas bill, not least because we have amongst the highest gas bills in Europe? www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/sep/22/why-is-the-uk-bailing-out-us-co2-supplier-cf-industriesOh, the irony. A bunch a right-wing political nut jobs, happy over decades in power, to watch British industry sold to foreign owned interests because they won't offer financial assistance to keep them British owned, bailing out said foreign owned businesses. Or this, www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/tory-ally-who-won-ppe-bonanza-buys-third-home-and-one-for-parents-211324/Yeah but no but yeah but Corbyn!......Socialism!! What the f*** do people think handing vast amounts of public money to private businesses whether it's for untendered PPE contracts or keeping them open to produce the CO2 that's crucial to the food industry is, if it isn't a form of corporate socialism? This is government by the venal, incompetent and corrupt for the terminally f***ing stupid. I went for my weekly shopping this morning. The local supermarket has acres of empty shelves, I can't even buy f***ing sugar! Fresh fruit and veg? Nah, what would I want that for! Good job since they haven't got much. Jesus wept! Big thanks to the minority in this country who would I suspect vote for a f***ing turd if it wore a blue rosette, who continue to keep this shower of sh*t in power. Rant over.

Of course it is, as Grant Shapps....hahahahaha FFS! I can't utter the words Grant and Shapps without pissing myself laughing.....has been keen to point out, leaving the EU has apparently allowed him to change the law to make it easier for people to take and pass their HGV test. For example, you now no longer have to demonstrate that you can reverse it! Imagine that! You no longer have to demonstrate that you can reverse a bloody HGV in order to pass your test. You no longer have to "graduate" to the biggest and heaviest vehicles, you can head straight to class 1 without any previous experience. These lying charlatans are a menace, even the road hauliers association are horrified.

And now we aim to recruit all those HGV (or HIV, as last night's newscaster described them !) drivers sat on their settees all over Europe waiting for the call to Britain.
Simple. Drag them over here and let them drive a "bomb" down the motorway at 60 mph without proper training !!!

I'm really loving this country being back in control. Here's a statistic that should make us all proud of our new found "independence". This country, one of the wealthiest in the world, now has more food banks than it has McDonalds. Think about that when you consider whether the increase in NI contributions is fair or not. And more pertinently still, think about it next time you're invited to vote.

Sadly, I don't think the average voter can see beyond their xenophob-o-vision sunglasses, so they'll still vote for this fat, lying slug regardless. The 'United' Kingdom is no such thing, 'Great' Britain is nothing of the sort and England is on end of life care. It's ok, though, because good old 'Boris' and his mates are quids in.

There remains a considerable constituency who regard taxation as some kind of state sponsored theft. They seem incapable of drawing the link between the quality of the services the state provides and the state's ability to finance it via taxation. The last resort of such people is to state that they don't see why they should pay for services they don't use. They seem to lack the imagination that would lead them towards the conclusion that they may, at some point in the future need them, health services being the obvious one of many. I like to point out to them that they are unlikely to ever need the fire brigade but they seem happy to contribute towards the maintenance of that service. My favourite one is "My children are privately educated (or we have private health insurance) so why should I pay taxes to support publicly funded education?" I enjoy pointing out to these particularly narrow-minded numpties that the staff at their private schools were in all likelihood educated at the public expense, that they drive to and from work on roads maintained at the public expense, that the support services their private schools rely on such as provision of water, waste removal, are maintained at public expense and that the vast majority of people who work for these service providers are educated at the public expense, etc, etc. Sadly, it's the ultimate triumph of the wretched Thatcher who clearly put ME at the forefront of the thoughts of so many. It's from her that nasty bastards like Rees-Mogg take their cue.

It's from her that nasty bastards like Rees-Mogg take their cue. Your best post yet, mate. About a month ago, one of the three petrol stations I drive past on my way into work had run out of fuel. The same thing happened on Wednesday so, having already driven past one I was compelled to use the third in Windermere which was charging 18p a gallon more than the other two, £2 on a fill up. A minor inconvenience and one which on previous evidence is not likely to be repeated too often until that is, some fatuous gobshite from the government calls on people not to indulge in panic buying, so what happens? Cue panic buying and associated shortages. At this point I'm in serious danger of slipping back into rant mode. I'd planned on going out this afternoon, it would have been 60 miles each way. That is equivalent to a day's travel to and from work and given that the government of this country seems hell-bent on generating a faux siege mentality by behaving in the manner that one might expect from the spivs and charlatans they in fact are, I've made a conscious decision to conserve fuel so that I can get to and from work next week. I confess, I despise this government with a passion for the damage they've done to this country over a lot of years.
