Seems a good time as any to create this thread, so for starters...
1. Pre-season matches against decent League clubs
2. Hoardings priced to sell , so there are no green spaces
3. Sell the roof advertising as it really bugs me that McAfee and Shoretel appear to be getting advertising for nowt.
4. Very important - get some of the shop merchandise into the Cheadle End/Main stand/Pop stand and sell. They tried it selling scarves and shirts start of last season - and from the looks of it sold quite a few... but then it stopped...
5. Stop the music before the start of the match so that when the teams come out they hear the support that we have and possibly feel intimidated... let's use every advantage we have..
Anything really bugging you, any comments and your top 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or more?

Agree with all of those ceefer!
Change the posters in the toilets to frequently advertise events and reserve games etc!

All the above are great suggestions.
I'd like to add one.
How much does advertising space cost? Personally I'd love to see a sign somewhere along Mercian way, or even on the Edgeley roundabout advertising "Next at Edgeley Park...". Surely SMBC would help out with a friendly price for advertising on the roundabout for example?

If there was a multi squillionaire who wanted to leave his fortune, tax free, to County and all SMBC had to do to seal the deal was sign a contract confirming County exist. They wouldnt be prepared to lose the ink it'd cost to sign it!
SMBC see us as a burden that they'd happily have rid of but will always get out of being held accountable for their role in our demise. They will point at the time they meakly sponsored us for 20 minutes back in 2010!
Anyway...apologies Gazza! SMBC boil my p*ss! In an ideal world that'd be a top idea mate!

Maybe the local Barracks would let us use their wall space at the roundabout instead? Maybe forge a link there between them and the club? Hold events linked etc...
Or how about some stands with merchandise to sell in regular spaces within the ground? I agree with all 5 points above we need better organisation of pre season games not just "the regular group" grateful as we are to them season upon season. I would keep cheadle town though they have played us for many a season it would be wrong to dump them. However as before i would send only the development squad to play them plus anyone returning from injury. A good idea might be to invite them to play at EP for a change and charge a nominal sum to be split 50/50. It would be grossly unfair to dismiss cheadle town out of hand and i would not support dropping them. I remember county winning 8-2 at cheadle and Le fondre got 6 of them i was there.
But i also want to see more stronger teams in pre season to help our players build a mind set of playing good positive football and see a standard to aim for instead of indifferent pre season games against any eleven available. To begin with maybe couple of league 2 teams and move that scale up each time we get promotion? With one higher standard team from say scottish championship level? One to draw in the money that would be a good thing like st mirren was.
Nothing too fancy or far away - Bolton or Wigan would be ideal big pre season derby from the championship - or even both one home one away even if its the reserves we face. Just a few thoughts...........

I dont see why we dont try and get a massive first team....United, City, Liverpool, Everton, Villa etc the worst they can do is say no!
Why not even try like a Real Madrid or Barcelona?! Madrid have played Irish League teams as well as Bouremouth and Plymouth etc.
We have had Bilbao and Valladolid here before so its not exactly farfetched!
Perhaps even Dynamo Kiev or the club Bellis used to help with in China!
There is literally no harm in asking!

Oh yes asking is great i like your suggestions but we have to temper that with our players who need experience but not a thrashing so not just yet the premiership and similar world leagues maybe if we reach League 2 or 1 then we can look anywhere maybe even offer an international team - no one big but a word to Jarkko might be in order? A finland u21 team would be fab. - extend our links to finland even further.

Ideally Id like to see 3 or 4 away matches at the regular places Cheadle, Mossley etc for the reserves/trialists/recovering players and things like that.
I'd like to see 3 or 4 home games against good quality teams. Teams like Rochdale, Oldham, Crewe, Bradford, Shrewsbury and teams like that or maybe a lower SPL team or something but every year I'd love to see us play one massive team. A proper ground filler, lets say United. Yes it could be a 5 or 6 goal thumping, we'd be lucky to score!
However aside from the huge financiap benefit, imagine the positive lessons a young lad could learn having to mark Wayne Rooney or trying to get round Daley Blind or trying to score past Davif De Gea etc and the confidence just one great tackle or goal or run could give to one of our players.

I'd like to see the club giving some thought to the future and giving tickets away to the local schools as they did in the past. Far better that than rows of empty seats and hopefully some of them will be the season ticket holders of the future

It's how I truly got into County so I think that'd work again NYE. Good suggestion!
Maybe when all is said and done we should collate these into a list of the best and most practical ones and actually send it to the club! I mean, what's the harm?!

Some great suggestions here, and I agree that giving plenty of free tickets away is the perfect way to get kids involved. Also, why not have a small amount of free Pop side family season tickets up for grabs on a lottery basis.
It's ok giving tickets away for one game, but as we have often seen that game could be an absolute wash out.Whereas say 50 free family season tickets (four person family ticket taking up 200 seats?) would see the team having twenty odd goes at showing them we are worth paying to see again next season.
As for Jarkko, maybe he could use his links with Fredrikstad FK and try to help arrange a friendly with them?

They're just not that popular as it's not a plastic team.

More chance of the County bug sticking that way.

I'd like to see them play FOOTBALL, instead of that kick and rush they have appeared to adopt recently. Also get that damn hand drier in the gents seen to, the one that's never worked properly since the day it was fitted! Oh and another thing, get those speakers in the main stand fixed then we won't have to listen to Ken Boxall doing his impersonation of Norman Collier. Something else I have thought of, the clock above the scoreboard wants fixing.
