At last the end of the season has arrived. (I know I am a bit previous but you all know why by now).
This is your last limerick relating to County games for a while but I intend to keep the thread going during the close season whilst spreading the content lines around a little as befits the sporting news as it happens, on and off the pitch.

Come on y'all! Here's my challenge: if you have entered even one Limerick competition this season, enter at least one line in this, the final round of the season. And if you haven't entered so far, make this your first entry and it will set you up nicely for the close season and then the start of the 15/16 season.

Here we go then, the final Limerick judging of the season. Thanks to all who entered, another very good quality set of lines. Third is countyfan with: And a run in that's been flatter than a pancake! Too true, my friend. Second is macc with: I'm gonna take County off to Relate! It's defintely been another of those seasons. First is ceefer with: A new manager, players and promotion we 'eagerly' await! Ending the season with groundless dreams of success next year is what being a County fan is all about! Finally, a huge thanks to Len who has consistently produced brilliant Limericks throughout the season. I salute you, Sir.  Already looking forward to the close season in Limerickland... |
