Here follows our penultimate offering of the campaign. The final one, in a fortnight's time, will include our End Of Season Awards for opposing clubs... and, yeh, all bets are off, so far as 'Hyde for Best Swimming Gala' may be concerned.

Greetings from Edgeley Park, for the second afternoon this week. And, hot on the heels of Easter, a warm welcome to the ‘Holy Blues’ of Gainsborough.
Although the most recent match here took place only five days ago, there is rather more to report - bearing in mind that that our last notes had to be written well ahead of the holiday-weekend. As news-bulletin collections go, however, we Hatters have enjoyed better!
Off the pitch, we learned that the fixture at Hyde must, in spite of its late, late abandonment, be replayed next Tuesday. Whilst, on it, County’s two-match Easter campaign drew a blank - comprising defeats by the odd goal, and ‘double’-reverses for the season, against both Barrow and Oxford City.
So far, so gloomy. How gratifying it was, therefore, to hear a feelgood ‘And Finally...’ item following the final whistle on Easter Monday, and to learn that Danny Hurst had signed a contract extension until the end of next season. Every cloud, and all that... Or, in this particular instance, nice save!
Now, Sandy - my Heavenly spies tell me that you're offering to provide 'any port in a storm', or some such service. Is that something to Brag-a-bout?!

Olá, Maccy! There was me thinking you’d struggle to muster a Portuguese-pun, but, Faro enough, you’ve managed it!
Yes, as the excitement of the recent Hatters Hike subsides (although there is still time to donate) and the season nears an end, County Heaven’s Games Room will again come to the rescue to pass the time until the start of the new campaign. Our latest offering, “Any Portugal In A Storm”, is just the tip of the iceberg, though.
While the DPL (Downy’s Prediction League) may take a short, well-deserved, break until August, Lennie will continue to amuse Heaveners with his limerick competitions, and my quizzes will still run throughout the summer - apart from the week I will be getting sandy (see what I did there?) on the beaches of Majorca. The new one starts Monday, so make sure you sign up and get involved. Archie is the current champion, having ruthlessly stolen points from an opponent in the last quiz, but we’ve let him off as he’s giving away some old programmes and fanzines to raise extra money for Kidscan!
Meanwhile, our resident technical wizard, Gazza, has been working tirelessly in the County Heaven Arcade, adding classic versions of Pacman, Ms Pacman, Super Mario, Puzzle Bobble, Simon and, my personal favourite, Tetris. Now, if he can just track down World Cup Soccer for the Sega Master System, my nostalgic trip back to childhood will be complete!
Enjoy the match.
