That is very encouraging news. He obviously has a long way to go, but that is a huge step in the right direction. Thanks for posting, Maccy.

Unbelievable scenes in the League One playoffs as Swindon and Sheffield United drew 5-5 in the second leg of the semi finals!
The highest scoring game in the divisions history. Absolute classic! Swindon coasting at 3-0 before SU pulled it back to 3-2 before Swindon! made it 4-2. United pulled another back to make it 4-3. Swindon made it 5-3 before 2 in 2 minutes made it 5-5.
United couldn't get the extra goal to force extra time but credit to them for showing the fight to make a game of it!

Big congrats to Juve making the CL final! Phenomenal result to go to the Bernabeu and protect their 2-1 lead with a 1-1 draw in Madrid.

Big congrats to Juve making the CL final! Phenomenal result to go to the Bernabeu and protect their 2-1 lead with a 1-1 draw in Madrid. Anybody else see "The Incredible Sulk" Ronaldo slink off at the end instead of staying out on the pitch with the rest of the team ?

Ronaldo is such an amazing talents and for me the best all around player in the world and possibly history but his attitude since joining Madrid has been disgraceful.
Obviously Fergie kicked it out of him at United but he now seems to believe his own hype which could ultimately cost him a few years at a top club when his skills start to diminish at the end of his career!
Absolutely delighted for Juventus! One of my favourite teams outside of England!

Excellent that, as was Nigel Pearson in keeping them up. After apparently being close to getting the sack, and although he polarises opinion, he's turned them around and pulled off a minor miracle there. A fantastic effort all round.

he's a weird one. seems like a good natured bear for much of the time, but will then suddenly lose it over the mildest of perceived slights. 'ostrich-gate' was ridiculous, but i thought he was an absolute w**ker strangling james mcarthur, and then being threatening about it in the interview after.
still, glad he's done it and glad they stayed up. a minor miracle, and great performances from schmeicel, cambiasso, vardy and several others.

I like Pearson, he's turned the club around and pulled off what seemed like the impossible. Apparently the day after the Ostrich comments the LCFC chef served up ostrich burgers to the players..nice touch

Thought it was worth posting...
Unbelievable save from Vancouver Whitecaps goalie, David Ousted against Philadelphia.
