In the NHL, Keith Yandle, now a D for Philadelphia Flyers, this season broke the record for most number of consecutive games. An astonishing 989, starting back in 2009. Flyers are having a shocking season having and have started playing younger AHLers ahead of next season, so was a recent healthy scratch from the team. For context, ice hockey games last 60 mins and a D would have an average Time on Ice of about 20 mins. They play 82 games in a regular season, Oct - Apr Not to mention the epic amount of travelling they do, Eps - it's a punishing sport.

Good of Liverpool to turn out a completely different team for the second half last night !!!!
I would have loved to have heard Klopp's half-time talk.

I would have loved to have heard Klopp's half-time talk. Absolutely, mate, I'd love to know what he said to them. I think he's fantastic and has had a real positive impact on the game over here, if only there were more like him. I think first and foremost he's a first-class human being, so it must be an absolute joy to work with him. I've said it to a few Liverpool fans here that he's very much a German Bill Shankly, he gets the City and its people, but most importantly he gets what that club means to its fans. Last but not least, he's a f***ing brilliant football manager. Long may his stay at Anfield continue.

Totally Agree Gazza. You would want him as a neighbour if there was a crisis.

City lost that by not seeing out the first game at home.

To be fair, the Rovers supporters invaded the pitch and caused a long delay. Serve 'em right if they had to replay the game.

No chance. I don't have much of an issue with pitch invasions after a game or if they disperse very quickly but this was way past that and ensured that both sets of players knew exactly what was required when play finally resumed long after the final whistle had gone at Barrow.
Expect to see the same in other games if there are no sanctions and, ultimately, someone will get badly hurt.
