Agreed, Gazz-man - and good posting yourself, matey.
When all is said and done, every club - including County, of course - has its share of meatheads who spew out bile at the drop of a hat, and, unfortunately, this draws disproportionate attention their way. The majority are just decent folk who love football, and they are the ones for whom those of us lucky still to have a club to support will feel at times like this - in Macc, just as it was in Aldershot, Bury, Chester, Darlo, and many other towns, beginning with most remaining letters of the alphabet, besides...

agree on all the above and back over the page. a real shame, and somewhat inevitable.

so tell you what. let's have everybody off all summer that we can't afford to spend and it would be irresponsible to do so in the current climate, despite having had a couple of huge earning seasons.......
........and then announce thiago alcantara and diogo jota on the same day. one refined class act, one much younger perpetual motion up and comer. dead pleased. not as glitzy as chelsea's summer action, but then not requiring as much improvement.

not as glitzy as chelsea's summer action, but then not requiring as much improvement. Jurgen Klopp could sign a f***ing Binman and I'd still trust him to have made the better signing, matey - the man oozes class and knows exactly what he's doing!

To lend this some perspective, did anyone else look at Bury when we were being left to rot by Kennedy and think how lucky they were, having avoided him moving his egg chasers in to Gigg Lane?
Now look at the respective states of both clubs and how quickly things can change in football.

It's frightening how quickly the rot sets in.

Bury Times - It ended in defeat, 2-1 at West Didsbury and Chorley in the FA Vase, but marked the start of the journey for the phoenix club set up following the Shakers’ expulsion from the Football League.

Unlucky Bury.
Blimey, I can remember playing at West Didsbury for Birch Vale and Thornsett in the Lancs and Cheshire League around 1971.

If we are not sponsoring this year perhaps we could club together and put in a bid ?

Agreed, Duds and it could so easily have been us. Meanwhile, Gareth Bale is on loan at Tottenham pulling in enough to buy that stadium in less than a fortnight. Football is seriously, seriously f***ed up.
