I wonder if the away fans were given the standard 'treatment' from the stewards. .... And their coach Windows put through on the way to the game?

sorry for the tediousness (and all future tediousness), but: 19 points clear with the same games played. 15 wins on the bounce since the draw at old trafford. the best start in any of the top five european leagues ever. they already have more points with 14 games left than their entire totals in 17 premier league seasons (i've just checked ). in january. i expect that says something both about how good liverpool are, and also about how f***ing mediocre they've been for much of the premier league era.

sorry for the tediousness (and all future tediousness) Nah, fill your boots, mate, it's been a long time coming - not to mention long overdue!

So mathematically, Norwich, Watford, Bournemouth, West Ham. Aston Villa and Brighton already can't win the league !

If Liverpool win at the weekend it could take another 5 teams out of the equation including Arsenal !!! that's not one that i'd spotted before, and it's madness... united and spurs are in 5th and 6th places, and liverpool have two more points than their combined total.

The perils of progress in the FA Trophy!
Hoping that Royston do a job on Ebbsfleet in the Third Round this Saturday, so that we get to keep our weekend appointment in Kent on the 29th, rather than having to schlep down there in midweek...

Manchester City banned from European club competitions for two seasons by Uefa - www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51510284I reckon that'll be Pep packing his bags if the appeal fails, especially if the stories are true regarding the Old Lady trying to lure him with a big bag of cash!

it'll end up being at the very worst halved, but probably a softer punishment than even that. so when you're the owner, and your sponsorship of your own club seems to be ridiculously generous, you are able to buy all the players. then just imagine cackling at your world domination when you've got a paltry single semi final to show for it...
city's champions league record:
2010/11 - round of 16 2011/12 - group stage 2012/13 - round of 16 2013/14 and 14/15 - round of 16 2015/16 - semi final 2016/17 - round of 16 2017/18 - quarter final 2018/19 - quarter final
not exactly forest or liverpool is it?

I always looked upon them as being lucky for having not allowed Kennedy in all those years ago, but now look at them. Very sad for all the Shakers fans.

Not sure what they're whingeing about tbh, on that evidence they've just as much chance of winning it by not being in it.

RIP Harry Gregg
My first childhood footballing/goalkeeper hero.
A gentleman and a legend.
Roll neck jumper, sleeves pushed up, no gloves. Old school, when keepers really had to look after themselves.
