Ok, so what followed this afternoon wasn't the greatest... but do please take a minute for our programme-piece, especially with a view to clocking Sandy's reminders about next Saturday's Hatters' Hike!

Afternoon, everyone – and a warm welcome to the ‘Magpies’ from Chorley.
Following County’s second-half capitulation against them at Victory Park back in November, let us hope that first meeting between our clubs in over a hundred years will have been a case of ‘one for sorrow’, and today’s reverse-fixture may represent ‘two for joy’!
The prospects are not discouraging. Since our last notes, we have enjoyed a win here over Solihull, and came away from faraway Lowestoft with the point that oh so nearly could have been three. Most recently, a much shorter trek (especially for me!), to Macclesfield on Tuesday night, saw County bow out of the Cheshire Senior Cup at the Semi-final stage - albeit, however, after a closely-fought game settled by just the one goal.
At County Heaven, we invariably look to bid any departing players farewell. So, with that in mind, our good wishes go to Richie Baker on his recent move to Fylde. There is no-one new conversely to welcome as such – although both Wes Benjamin and Connor Hancock have done themselves, and County’s Development Squad, proud, following their recent promotions to First Team action.
Looking ahead to our next match, here’s one man who will get my drift when I say with confidence that we shall walk it when the Hatters play at Hyde. Right, Sandy?!

After years of writing together, I always get your drift!
Of course, in a league as unpredictable as this, Maccy would never be so bold as to assume County will take maximum points from bottom-placed Hyde next Saturday, and is instead referring to ‘Hatters Hike 2015’, when we shall be walking to Ewen Fields and back to raise funds for Kidscan. There is still time to take part if you would like to, and you can get involved by e-mailing me at sandbachhatter@hotmail.co.uk. If you are unable to walk with us, you can always still donate by visiting www.justgiving.com/HattersHike2015. All donations will be greatly received, as we try to hit our target of £1,000, and will come with a free hug from yours truly (optional)!
To help us reach our milestone, long-standing Heavener, ‘Archie’, has kindly offered some memorabilia he has collected during his many years supporting County – including old programmes (mainly from the 1960s), together with several copies of much-loved fanzine, The Tea Party. If you’re interested in getting your hands on some collectable items, details will be revealed on County Heaven shortly, with the successful bids forming a donation to Kidscan.
Lastly, there is just enough time for me to extend a warm welcome, on behalf of CH, to our Norwegian friend, Thomas (‘Jarkko’), and his Rolvsøy IF team, who are visiting EP today as part of their Stockport 2015 Tour! Velkommen til Edgeley Park!
Enjoy the match.
