Positive news on the weather front then! Sounds like we should have a game this Saturday then rather than another postponement barring a drastic downturn in the weather!

Hey! I just remembered that Kingy will be back. Dicko won't be, though. He's off to Guiseley (see 'Ex-Hatters News Feed')!

Yeah. I saw on Facebook.
I still have a pair of Lewis' gloves. Gave them to me just after he left. It's a shame he didn't last longer here.

i liked king - i preferred him to ormson at the time, but it was two young, smallish 'keepers. we looked so much better (although of course we still went down) when we got richard o'donnell in. and again this season - hurst is far from perfect, but he's just a far more solid 'keeper than ormson or king.
king's reaction at stalybridge this season was also annoying - like we were his most hated team. seemed a bit strong and a bit prickish to me.

Lando just updated me on the pitch... It froze again last night, even with the covers on - it was a cold one though ! No temperatures forecast as low as that again before the game. Covers will be going back on again soon and the heaters and now 2 tents are being employed all day long. All are still confident game will go ahead. COME ON COUNTY

I know some fans elsewhere would like you to post details of Richard Park's email account, the shoe size of every shareholder, and assure them that the earth is flat and County will be in the Premier League in five years, but on here we really do appreciate the updates you are able to give us.
Keep up the brilliant work!

Not predicted for a while so........I think we'll win this one but it'll be a close game, Either 1-0 or 2-1 for the boys in blue.

Thanks Gazzza You saw I had a bit of a wobbler yesterday ont'other board. It's frustrating beyond belief at times. Don't see any of that stuff here. County Heaven is a pleasure and therefore I feel far more confident of posting updates, updates I don't post elsewhere for fear of causing backlashes !!

You saw I had a bit of a wobbler yesterday ont'other board. It's frustrating beyond belief at times. I know, and I totally understand your frustration. Just don't let them distract you from the fantastic work you're all doing over there, it is appreciated by the majority, mate. Never lose sight of that fact, or indeed of what you're all trying to achieve.

Don't think it's not appreciated mate, we all give each other respect here, even if we disagree on things!

Never lose sight of that fact, or indeed of what you're all trying to achieve. I would really be interested to know from those who post over there how many really attend games week in and week out. Sure they can have an opinion but as to how the team has played how can you really comment if you werent there or werent listening to Pure...? Sometimes I think they are in a time warp; sure we all want the 'glory days' back but me thinks if we even got back there people would still find something to moan about...

Good news for County is that Stalybridge's red hot striker Dom Calvert-Lewin has just been recalled by Sheff Utd. He bagged 6 in 6 in his short spell there. Here are the replacements - I 'know nothing' at all about them both...should we be worried? www.footballconference.co.uk/news/details.php?news_id=14514Also Coming in on loan, however, is AFC Fylde midfielder Michael Potts, who figured in both of their goalless draws against County earlier in the season" Should be an interesting match... 3-1 County....attendance 2950

Sometimes I think they are in a time warp; sure we all want the 'glory days' back but me thinks if we even got back there people would still find something to moan about... There were plenty of moaners even when things were going well, mate. I lost count of the amount of people who actually regularly slagged Danny off for dropping certain players and the tactics/formations he used, that's no bull. Not to mention Frainy, Jimbo (one of the biggest boo-boys back then was Jim), Preecey.... they all had their fair share, but listen to every fan talking about those days today, not one person rips into any of them as players. Some of the vitriol aimed at Jim was a disgrace early on. I remember being stood on the old Cheadle End steps v John Ward's Bristol Rovers (2-0 defeat). We were defending a corner at that end and being 2-0 down the ground was really quiet, and the class act that was Sean Connelly was stood defending the near post a couple of yards away from where I was stood. Just then a guy right behind me shouts "f**k OFF CONNELLY, AND FIND ANOTHER CLUB!" I can still remember the look on Sean's face, gritting his teeth and doing his best to blank it out. I just started clapping and shouted "KEEP YOUR HEAD UP, SEAN!" I will never understand some of our fans as long as I live.
