Boston away, but don't expect a "Tea Party" given their recent form ! Last three at "Jakeman's", has seen Boston go nap. Let's hope this run we can snap. Coalesce for success And halt the "Pilgrim's Progress" ............................................................ Naughty Steps awaits anyone who goes for the blindingly obvious rude rhyme. Sir Macca will smacca your knees as well. (although this ban will be lifted after the game for late entries if we lose and concede five). All yours, have fun.

Not a lot to go on here, so I'm sticking to one entry to give others a chance.

Time for a decision Macca (shouldn't take too long).
Barrow (home) coming very soon.

Will do, Lennie - but later this afternoon, if that's ok, as I'm about to go out and about and clear my head after a marathon match report-writing sesh!

Right, then - the time is now! Many thanks to those who entered. As is often the case when the turnout is relatively low, the quality was commendably high. Without further ado: In joint-third place: county fan, with the wise advice that "We need to score an early goal, then keep playing the offside trap!" (unfortunately, while managing to do the former, County didn't quite have their wits about them just before half-time when it came to the latter!); and eppers, for the deliciously camp question that everyone should be asking... "Or will we have to Climb Ev'ry Mountain, like Maria von Trapp?"! Taking the Silver Medal, archie, for his ingenious geographical suggestion: "Let's flatline the Fens' contour map.". The records will show that bringing to an end, as the Hatters did, Boston's rampaging run of whopping home victories meant something of the sort was indeed accomplished. But the winner, and your next Judge Roughneck, is gazza, for his hope that the match might end "With a win for the absent Fudgie, our Vancouver Whitecap!" We might have fallen short of bringing home all three points, but I reckon that The Fudgester will have been pretty chuffed on learning, across the Atlantic, that a hard-fought draw had been salvaged from such a difficult fixture. And, besides, gazza's line was clever, witty and had a Heavenly relevance. The robes, Sir, are yours... And, with that, it's back to Lennie in the studio...

Get in! Thanks, Maccy! Great lines from everyone else, thoroughly deserving their places on the podium. Thanks as always to Sir Lennie, astonishing consistency in keeping these fresh and relevant!

I tries me' best Gazza. Thanking you. Congrats on the win (and it keeps Fudgie happy as well). Thanks to the famous few who keep having a hack at the final line. Entries are down recently (perhaps due to the slightly harder "rhyming hang outs" I am leaving you with. But I am trying very hard not to issue repeats). Barrow will be limerick 96 (!!) since we transferred to the new board. We could do with a promotion to freshen up the opposition and we seem to have less backroom shananighans to include this year. Keep 'em coming folks.
