and i completely understand people wanting the best they can get; but if it means keeping your kids in appalling conditions because the back garden of the property you were offered has a mild slope, then you've lost the ability to make proper decisions for your household. Totally agree with this ^^. That's when the decision should be taken away from the family and given to Thomas Hobson, like it or lump it.

gorsey bank and behind bridge hall estate are ripe for building yet what do these cretins at the town hall do? decide reddish vale is the place to build ...why? MONEY ! they will get money for the reddish vale chunk of land and wont get any "kick back" from the other two sites. says it all.
lee Rigby died for this country earning a relative pittance and taxed to bits on it.........over 50 house of lords members rip off £300 a day for 30 mins "work" and they wonder why people don't understand tory policy? we understand it..........what you steal today.........you can steal again tomorrow ! The lib dems know they are out in 2015 so they grab all the money they can. while the tories just carry on as normal.

Couldn't agree more, stu. I just wish Labour would ditch Wallace and Gromit and find a proper leader, because I dread to see this country after another five years of Mr. Hardacre and his 'Big Society'. Sadly, I can't see the majority taking Milliband seriously when 'X' comes to mark the spot....I hope I'm wrong.
I'm not for one minute saying I agree with everything the Labour Party have to say or offer right now, but it's got to be better than this....... surely.

A couple of interesting stats I heard the other day 250,000 more working people (families) are claiming housing benefit than three years ago. Costing us in that time about £4 billion. Thanks for getting us all back to work Gideon! (Osborne's given first name)
40% of people in poverty in this country are actually in work!

it's more 'x marks the clot' with milliband unfortunately. wouldn't it have been nice if he'd...i dunno...had a more credible brother or something...
i saw that one duds - it's a real eye-opening stat because i instinctively don't equate work -even low paid work- with poverty, even when i sometimes encounter people through work who are experiencing that reality. i deal with a lot of working people who have some element of HB supplementing their income.
claims from younger people for HB have gone down in the last 18 months though, since the government changed local housing allowance (the private rented sector HB) so that you only qualify for enough housing benefit for self-contained accommodation if you're over 35 (or meet certain exemptions). if you're younger, you get enough for a room in a shared house only. like student housing except with fewer ipads and more smackheads...

How many new jobs are part time? How many are on zero hours contracts - yeah real useful trying to pay a mortgage on that setup NOT. how many public sector jobs have been lost? Of these so called 1.4 million new jobs how many are as I have stated above either part time or zero hours contracts - the vast majority ! How many are being paid £66k a year rising to £74k in june 2015?........not many I bet. Zero hours contracts - go to work one week they say here you go a 40 hour week..........next week........sorry matey only 18 hours this week ( can you continually make claims for housing benefit etc to help balance the shortfall??? nope coz you are classed as full time so if you get any benefit at all it will be based on a 40 hour week regardless)
The quicker the duck pond mob get vited out the better. labour isn't perfect but it isn't the tory party.

Cameron is in bed with the businesses, they want us all sat by our phones on a daily basis waiting to hear if we've got any work in the morning. A nation of f*****g bank staff is what they want, with NO rights, no sick pay and no redundancy.
Work today, paid today, f**ked off tomorrow.
The big society.
