Evening, all. It has been a while, but here is our article from this afternoon's programme... Enjoy!

Hatter in Macc writes:
Happy Boxing Day! And, to our visitors, Diwrnod Bocsio hapus! Hope that everyone, either side of the border, enjoyed a Heavenly Christmas.
It seems ages since we last saw action at Edgeley Park – and all the more so, given that those of us who were here three weeks ago will have done everything possible to erase from our memories the three-goal defeat against Guiseley. Having failed to tame the Lions, however, County did go on to batter the Rams (of Acre Bottom) by an identical score – so, depending on where precisely they may be placed in nature’s pecking order, it is anyone’s guess as to how we will fare this afternoon against the Seagulls!
The Bay, like Guiseley, are one of a few teams that the Hatters have yet to beat in a League match – as, still, are North Ferriby, following our draw at the EON Visual Media Stadium just before Christmas. (Rather a relief to have bagged there our first League goal in five weeks, mind...)
I feel positively under-dressed in comparison with my esteemed co-contributor, who appears to be donning a very smart Master of Ceremonies outfit! What’s occurring, Sandy?
Sandbach Hatter writes:
Why thank you, Maccy! I do look rather dapper, don’t I? In truth, it’s the same tuxedo I wore to my firm’s Christmas party and I haven’t had chance to take it to the dry-cleaners, but, if you ignore the faint aroma of ‘eau de Jagerbomb’, it’ll be fine.
Now then, if I’m in a tux, and Maccy’s shaved his legs, it can only mean one thing: The County Heaven Awards 2014! For those of you who don’t know, each year our members get to vote on a variety of accolades dished out by Big Fudge, and I’ll be revealing the results over this article and the next. Today, I’ll be focusing on the County-based prizes, with the Heavener-based awards to follow next time. So, without further ado, here are the winners:
Player of the Year: Kristian Dennis
Result of the Year: Gainsborough 1 – 5 County (4th January)
Moment of the Year: I had best be careful here, so will just say that it was a certain former-employee leaving the club.
Most Improved Player: This was a tie between Stephen O’Halloran and Jamie Milligan.
Well done to all the winners but, of course, what we really want to know is whether a certain someone retained the ‘Hatter in Macc Award for Heavener of the Year’. Tune in, next time, to find out!
Enjoy the match.
