You might laugh but .... tonight I played for Fleetwood Strollers against the Blackpool team ! They were a little short so I offered to switch allegience with another guy.
Made a decent game of it and kept it to a 3-0 defeat playing with a man short for 40 minutes. One deflected goal and another laid on a plate to the centre forward by our full back hitting a square ball across the area to him.
Very enjoyable game.

Hopefully, they are finding some kind of strength through adversity, and can continue with this run. Mark Cullen has bagged some goals for them, too. He seems to excel for teams who are up against it! |
