County Heaven's favourite second club, Rolvsøy - from the Norwegian Conference, and managed by one of our own in Jarkko - will visit these shores, and play a number of matches in and around Stockport, during March 2015.
The dates are as listed below. Get them in your diaries now!
Thursday, 19th March: Cale Green, 19:30 (at Cheadle Town FC) - free entry
Friday, 20th March: Blackpool Senior Seasiders (including assorted County Heaveners!), walking football, 10:00-11:00 (at Stockport Sports Village) - free entry
Friday, 20th March: Stockport Town, 20:00 (at Stockport Sports Village) - £3 Adults, £1 Concessions
Sunday, 22nd March: Hazel Grove, 11:00 (at New Mills FC) - £2 entry
Although we already have a thread dedicated to Rolvsøy, this one is being set up specifically with the tour in mind, so as to keep you updated in the least cluttered way!

Okay, slight change.
Stockport Sports seem to have gone bust and haven't gotten back to us about whether they can put out a team so we've now arranged a game against Stockport Town instead, most likely at the Sports Village on the Friday at 8pm but not quite confirmed yet.

Not name-checked specifically - but referred to above as 'assorted County Heaveners'. Still trying to figure out how the heck I'm going to provide live match-tweets for that one, given that I'll be playing!

The Blackpool Senior Seasider's Squad for next Friday has just been announced. There are a few guest appearances in what is by no means a full strength team (due to it being pension day and a few are away enjoying the Spanish sunshine !)
Les "Mackem" Turner "Back Post" Billy Singleton Ian "The Silent Assassin" Jones Wai Hong "Kong" Tsang Les "Biscuit Man" Mycock Barrie "No nickname" Talbot Tom "The Spaniard" Pratt Chris "Newbie" Woods Steve "The Cat" Hyde Chris "Big Fudge" L. Gareth "Macca" E. Dave "The Bear" Aitken
Still room for late additions to be made on Monday. Be afraid Rolvsoy, be very afraid !!!

If I had a passport (and some money) I could have made a guest appearance as Down "Under repair" Hatter.
Maybe next time...

You'll all be pleased to know that the team arrived safe and sound last night and partook in some of Stockport's finest food and drink!
Training is today (Thursday) and tomorrow from 9am-11am at Stockport Sports Village if people fancy coming meeting us all!
