A disappointing game today - but, as ever, a right riveting read of a programme...
Here's our contribution. Plenty of copies bought up by nearests and dearests, as Macc Junior (fave player: Scott Spencer) features in Fanzone (page 14), too!
Happy reading, anyway. You know it makes more sense than kicking the cat...

Good afternoon everyone - and a warm welcome to today’s opponents, “The Lions” of Guiseley.
Let’s start with some congratulations, shall we? Firstly, our good friend, Epworth Hatter, recently completed another ‘Movember’, sporting a glorious handlebar ‘tache for the month to raise awareness of testicular cancer and other health issues affecting men. He collected over £200 for charity in the process - well done, Eppy.
Secondly, you may know him as the creator of “C.H.A.O.S.” and The Limerick Lounge, but to us he is now ‘Granddad Lennie’, following the arrival of his first grandchild on 18th November. Our congratulations go to the whole Bringbacklenwhite clan, and we hope to see little Eleanor Grace at EP in the not-too-distant future!
In other news, our Ligue 1 competition, “The French Connection”, is hotting up nicely, and we’re now down to our final three in the Poker Tournament – ‘Gazza The Grabber’, ‘Another_Royal_Flush’ and ‘The Dudfather’ - following the shock elimination of ‘Four Cards Fudgie’. Well, if you will try and play a four-card hand in a five-card game...
Now then, here he is. My brother from another mother – it’s Maccy! I tell you what, mate - I’m proud of myself for not making a lame pun based on our opponent’s nickname like I usually do, even though the urge to break into “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” was just a whim away.
A whim away, a whim away...

Not wishing to hurt your Pride, Sandy, I always preferred the Leo-na Lewis version myself!
But enough of this - and back to the Mane event...
And said event, as it happens, is our fourth Conference North match in a row to feature opponents who, at the time of writing, occupy play-off positions. Following Fylde’s return-visit here on Tuesday night, County’s record during this demanding mini-sequence consists of a defeat and two draws - with the latter having come over 180 scoreless minutes, ten days apart, against the Coasters. A victory for the Hatters today would therefore provide a neat piece of results-symmetry, as well as bringing to an end our temporary League goals drought.
Sandwiched in between our Fylde double-header was what eventually turned out to be a hard-fought home win over those away-day specialists from Colwyn Bay in the FA Trophy. With the team having emerged victorious against Welsh opponents, and then been drawn to visit Ramsbottom in the next round a week today, the sheep gags are currently trending... Wether Ewe like it or not!
Enjoy the game. Although if I said it would be an easy game, you’d know I was Lion’...
