shout out for PiL's 'public image' and the most sinister song ever 'poptones' too.
quite liked the pastels too macc. bless them and their 'truckload of trouble'. once saw them supporting pavement in a 'p'-extravaganza.
worst performance ever? probably primal scream at hull uni in '89. 'screamadelica' was still a couple of years off. this was during one of about seventeen stones phases they've had and they weren't very good. i'd liked their drippy 'sonic flower groove' album from a couple of years before as well. never forgave them. they're not cool. they're c**ks.
