The Guiseley "Lions" next attack our "Fortress". Is this likely to cause some distress ? They may come roaring or snoring. but we must stop 'em scoring.. A reality check, I confess.

Whenever you are ready with a decision Eppy. No problem with time, still tinkering with Ramsbottom (oh er missus) for the next one. Trying to keep it reasonably un-risque, but sadly failing at the moment.

Judgement time…
Another top quality round of rhyming (better quality than County’s performance – the first time we’ve said that in a while!). There were plenty that could have made it on the podium this week - a quality set from Macc, cf, Len and archie. But there can only be three...
Third is sirroger with: At home we're 'The Untouchables' and Lord is Eliot Ness. Although we clearly weren’t on Saturday, a clever reference to one of my favourite films - surely one of the best opening scenes in cinema history?
Second is ceefer with: No pussy footing around, we need to impress. Although we clearly didn’t, there is a nice cat pun in there
First is gazza with: Never mind, 3-0 loss, but it's just one game so let's not stress. Quite right, gazza. And it chimed with stu’s recent excellent post - welcome back stu. Onwards and upwards to, erm, Ramsbottom
So, the wig and gavel are returned forthwith to Judge Gazz (sounds like a 90s local radio DJ!)
Thanks to all who entered and thanks to Lenster the Rhymester.

I think that's the hat-trick, gazza. If it is, then excellent effort. If it's not, then still well done on yet another win .

I'm really chuffed to get the win when up against the quality I've seen here, let alone the hat-trick! Huge thanks to Eps for awarding me the gold, much appreciated, and most kind mate!
