Just a trimmed-down, 32-page edition of the programme for this afternoon's tie... but we're in it . Happy reading!

Good afternoon everyone, and welcome to EP for some ‘FAT’ action (which stands for ‘FA Trophy’, before anyone panics that Vanessa Feltz will be donning a Wildcat Dolls outfit and doing a guest appearance half-time dance routine - *shudders*).
You may recall from one of our previous articles this season that County Heaven are presently working on another A-Z index. We’ve already covered County players in ‘C.H.I.E.F.’ (County Heaven’s Index of Edgeley Favourites) and the reciprocal ‘C.H.U.F.’ (County Heaven’s Useless... erm... Footballers), and now we’re working on something that is always a popular talking point among our members – music! ‘C.H.U.M.S.’ (or ‘County Heaven’s Ultimate Music Soundtrack’) began in August with, as one would expect, Week A, and at the time of writing we’ve just finished Week M, which, it is safe to say, was the week modernmorrissey had been waiting for!
After narrowly avoiding an embarrassing start, when Abba nearly made it onto the CD (Abba? Really, guys?), we’ve compiled quite the collection of artists for Disc 1, with Week N now kicking off Disc 2. True, there’s precious little post-1980 at the moment, but, with the recent announcement of S Club 7’s reunion, that could all be about to change. Pop along to CHHQ to cast your vote!
Now then, my little Dancing Queen, I seem to recall you might have been championing Abba’s entry?...

Well, yes, I did Have A Dream that they might make the cut… but clearly met my Waterloo, once up against rabid supporters of The Animals!
I was also saving a Celtic greeting for today’s visitors from ‘The Bay’ until their Boxing Day trip to SK3 – but, heck, there’s no harm done in being friendly and welcoming on more than one occasion! So… Croeso i Fae Colwyn!
They travel here from the seaside a week after our own jolly, close to the coast, for the first of County’s League ‘double-headers’ against Fylde. The sea itself may have been out of view from the farmland within which Kellamergh Park nestles, but a thousand onlookers - 997 paying spectators, plus three grazing sheep - bore witness to a cracker of a contest, from which the Hatters emerged with a fully deserved point.
Prior to that, we found ourselves, in quick succession, on the right and the wrong ends of 3-0 scorelines – here against Hednesford, and then at Chorley, respectively. The Twelfth Man’s loud and proud backing of the players was superb on both occasions, and – who knows, remembering that Gosport, as a second-tier Conference side, made it all the way to Wembley for last season’s Trophy Final – today’s tie could just mark the start of another journey for us all…
Enjoy the game.
