There's a few lines here this week that for me, clearly proves 'Lennie's Limerick Lounge' is the place to frequent.
Brilliant stuff, folks

Leamington's Manager is called Butch O'Kane ! He's Chairman as well, for the pain. No it's not a dog pound It's the "New Windmill Ground" ! He prefers Butch 'cause his real name is Jane. (allegedly)
PS his real name is Neil and he is the ex-captain and all time leading goalscorer for the Brakes.
Advance Wikipedia gives the manager as Paul Holleran and the chairman as Jim Scott (so much for research).
Apologies for this, but it's a bit late now !!

Time for a decision CF.
No hurry though. Chance for a few late entries to reflect on the score.

Righty ho then,
I'll keep it quick and simple today as I'm feeling like sh*te for some reason and will be going home soon and getting back in bed!!
A late entry takes 3rd Place for Macc with - "Churchy's 'shot' flew just like a stunt plane!" Second Place goes to Gazza with his line of "No worries, we'll be like a Bolt from the Blue and win at a canter, like Usain!"
But the winner this week is Ceefer with his entry of "The latest battleplace in our promotion campaign!" It's actually nice for once when checking the tables on a Saturday evening to be looking at the top of the screen rather than the bottom!!!
Onwards and Upwards.
Well done to everyone this week and Lennie as usual for the excellent Limerick. I'm sure the Chester one will be up soon for us to all start again.
And i'm off home to bed!

I'm on a roll with the Medals right now! Cheers for the Bronze, c_f - and hope that you soon feel better. Congratulations to gazza and, in particular, to ceefer - a worthy winner. And thanks, as ever, to Sir Len for running the show.

Cheers Cf. As God said to Moses "Keep taking the tablets". Speedy recovery to you.
Excellent week of rhyming from all (despite the editorial cock-up with Butch O'Kane - note to self don't always believe Wiki, you pratt).
So, Ceefer will become the judge for the Chester Cup game. No rush with this one, I will make sure my research is slightly more accurate.
Off to Walking Football now, so I will try to post one later today.
Cheers all. The game that keeps on giving as long as you take part.

Excellent referee this week (if I may say so), thanks CF, hoping you recover for the big match this Saturday.
Some great lines again this week.
