INTERVIEW FROM 18TH DECEMBER, 2011
1. How have you found playing for Stockport County so far?
"I'm really enjoying it, yeah, it's a big club, a good club, really enjoying coming out here and playing games, it's disappointing the results we've had but I've really enjoyed it so far."
2. Is there a belief around the team that we can stay up and finish quite comfortably in the Conference?
"Yeah definitely, I mean all the lads know we should be doing better than what we are doing and I think we are better than a lot of the teams in this league."
3. Has the arrival of Jim Gannon, who is obviously a legend as a player and a manager at the club, changed the attitude around the team?
"Yeah, the gaffers come in and he's done well, he's brought something different to the coaching side and I think the players are working harder and it's going well."
4. How are you finding life in Stockport since moving here from Peterborough?
"Yeah good, I like it, Stockport and Manchester, nice cities, it's enjoyable to live here."
5. When you were at Peterborough there were two ex-County players in Tommy Rowe and Joe Lewis, did they have any influence on your decision to come to County?
"Yeah, I mean I probably would've come anyway but I did speak to Tommy Rowe before I came and he just said to me that it's a really good club and that I should go for it."
6. Since you've been here, who do you get on best with in the team, like going out with?
"Well Andy Halls probably with him being my age and all that and living near him, we've been out a few times!"
7. What is it like walking out at some grounds like Stalybridge and we have more fans than the home side, does it make any difference to the team?
"Yeah definitely, I mean coming out at Stalybridge it was a great atmosphere and it gives that lads a little extra buzz and can really help out the side."
8. Is there anything personal that you do pre-match, superstitions or anything like that?
"No, not really I'm not much of a supersticious person, just the usual, have my pre-match meal and get things ready, nothing supersticious no."
9. How has it been during the last few disappointing results, having to sit in the stands and not being able to influence the game?
"It's been horrible to be honest, there is nothing worse than being sidelined with an injury and especially when the lads are not doing so well but hopefully, now I've just come back in, hopefully we can get some results and move on from there."
10. Finally, if I dare ask, obviously you have been on of County's best players so far, do you still think you'll be one of County's best players come February, do you plan on staying?
"Yeah, definitely definitely, I have no plans to leave here so I definitely think I'll be staying, yeah 100%."
