Interesting noises re SK Group - kind of ties in with what the Boardroom Update on COWS a few days ago said - suppose we shall just have to wait and see what happens (after all we will be the last to know anything about our club)

I have a lot of time for both Fitzy and Jim (they both have the best interests of this club firmly at heart) but I think its well worth making the point that I wouldn't want this boat rocked (on the pitch, at least) with what Alan Lord is achieving right now. I have no doubt at all that Fitzy and JG will do a great job behind the scenes (and I hope they'll finally shift our CEO from his padded directors seat) but please, please, please leave Lordy in charge of the first team - it would be a travesty to unseat him now.

If Jim is part of the SK Group, or whatever they're called, then he will be responsible for all things football and the introduction no doubt, of another five year plan. Whether Lordy continues as the Manager or reverts to a coaching position is an interesting one. I suppose time will tell on that. Certainly his current success has created a situation whereby much thought must be given before an announcement is made. If Jim does come back, will he be able to persuade "good cop" to get his a*** in gear and follow him? The "bad cop" needs him. All these rumours

I've seen talk of Lordy getting advice from Jim, Rog, so who knows what will happen. Maybe the talk of Jim being Director of football in the truer sense this time around may have some substance?
As I have said, I will always welcome Jim back. He was a favourite of mine as a player even when he was the target of the boo-boys, and you all know my opinion of him as a County manager, but if Lordy wants the job it should be he who is afforded the courtesy of having first refusal.
I'm certain however, that both Jim and Alan will have discussed this, or will discuss it at length prior to any moves to take over the running of the club. Jim would never undermine Lordy, and vice versa, they appear to be very close friends. So I am sure that whatever happens following any investment from 'SK', it will be for the benefit of the club first, and that is most important.
I'm sure they'd make the right calls on this should it come to that, I have total faith in both of them.

Good post,gazza.
It's good to have positives both on and off the pitch. Makes a bloody change.
Interesting to see what happens with the Chinese & Mr. Blue Sky Thinking.

we really have got hobson's choice then have we? Indeed, take it or leave it.......... and I'd choose the latter myself.
