those new LA are hanging. the front bulges out, the stripes are wonky, they've halved the tongue. they look about as identical to the originals as the clay head of lionel richie in the 'hello' video. terrible.

i know they got a bit funboy a few years ago but i still think the shape of a decent colourway of forest hills takes some beating. i also bought a couple of the stan smith safety range in the mid-00's including a pair of dark brown corduroy and rubber ones which i thought were quite snazzy. there were some awful ones in that range though too.

Nail on head! I actually sold my old Snooker table to buy myself a pair of the original LA back in 1984, and I felt like the new Messiah when I first got them, class trainers, plus they came with the proper peg system, complete with swap tool. Not like that sh*te they're churning out these days, they look like they've been made in a portakabin in Cheetham Hill.

That New Yorker is a classic, I had the all white version with red piping for the chest and arm band, with blue felt logo, it was rare as rocking horse dung! My sister burned it right up the back with the iron while trying to sneak it out and wear it once, and she stitched it up with a needle and GREEN cotton, and chucked it in the linen hoping I wouldn't notice.
When I came to throw it on I thought "wtf?", it was half way up my bloody back! She'd stitched it, and must have got bored half way through, and just pulled on the cotton and tightened it up which pulled the lot together. I was fuming!

Samba's as you say Gazza were excellent 5-a-side trainers! I got some shoes recently called Beckenbauer's that were great shoes!

M & S Gift Vouchers. In particular, the bit at the top that you have to tear along the perforated edge and dispense with. We all know it's a blinking voucher, so there's no need to have it. You can't leave it on as it won't fit in the blinking envelope. Tearing it leaves a bit torn off the main voucher and it ends up looking a blinking mess. Some tool has been paid a pretty penny for coming up with this idea and frankly, he/she is not deserving of the riches. The idea of Vouchers is good; I applaud it, but make it more presentable and easier to fulfill its intended function.

Microsoft Outlook Email (replacement for Hotmail), utter waste of time, and the only way it can be more frustrating is when trying to access it through a Galaxy S4, technology these days really makes me want to punch things............. including myself!
