BBCs Reluctance to criticise the Government in case they take their funding away.
Yesterday the High Court found against Matt Hancock in respect of Covid Conracts whilst Johnson is facing a judicial review for his failure to sack Priti Patel. Hardly a mention on the BBC website.
On Thursday the host? in the studio referred to Starmer being strongly criticised but went no further. The criticism was out of the blue and not really relevant to the story. We then went to a weather update. On the return the story turned to the video / advert regarding Vaccines in the BAME community that was being shown on ITV, C4 and C5. We were advised that the BBC were not showing the item due to them maintaining impartiality in line with their Charter.

My employer believing that he has the right to demand I take a regular weekly covid test. He doesn't, and no amount of trying to apply moral pressure (it's for the benefit of the business, you, protecting colleagues, etc) is going to persuade me to give up my privacy and doctor/patient confidentiality. Particularly since we're now 11 months into a pandemic made worse by Government ineptitude fuelled by the kind of complacency the Tories have been perfecting for years.

It's about time we all cut their funding, because I honestly can't remember the last time I watched anything on there, be it TV channels or iPlayer - if I want their classic comedies I'll watch Gold. They're so scared of their own shadow these days, the white dot and continuous beep we used to get following the closedown back in the day was a more interesting watch! Scrap the licence fee and make the bland, toothless tw##s work for their money.

The BBC also produce radio programmes and while I've long since ceased to listen to their news, their current affairs programmes are in altogether more in depth. Particularly we should be concerned about this malignant creep. www.theguardian.com/media/2020/dec/01/rupert-murdochs-news-uk-tv-channel-given-approval-to-launchAt a time when both the Australians and the the US are beginning to question the disingenuousness, dishonesty and blatant bias and in particular, question whether there is a case for regulating the kind of bullshit passed as fact by Fox News the Tories have given the odious bastard a licence to produce a "news" channel in this country. If you want to know what misrepresentation of fact and blatant dishonesty look and sound like take a look at Tucker Carlson, amongst others on YouTube.

I'm convinced this is why Johnson doesn't seem to give a f*** if we all lose our jobs, as we'll all be able to be Hired and fired on a daily basis by that bald, greedy tw##. Those fulfillment centres are popping up everywhere like OK diners, so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what this government are banking on to get their employment figures down at the other end of the Covid-19 tunnel. I warned everyone not to vote leave and why, but some didn't listen. Maybe when their own comfortable little lives go to sh*t and they end up driving around housing estates delivering oven gloves, portable phone chargers and curling tongues it'll finally sink in? Taking back control, eh!

I get that mate, but the difference between paying 13 quid a month for a service that refuses to hold the government to account and it not being there at all, is we get the same situation but with the added bonus of keeping 13 quid in our pockets. If the BBC went commercial, maybe then we'd see them change, but under the current model? No thanks. They're a pointless entity taking money off me every month - a bit but like the extended warranties I've just cancelled on my TV and washing machine.

What the f*** is it with these ads on TV, with female 'singers' doing covers of classic songs that sound like the artist is seriously considering killing themselves as soon as the music stops?
The latest victim? 'Sweet Child O' Mine'!
Just f*** off with this depressing sh*t.

The absolutely scripted f***ing nonsense that Liam Richardson and Jon Keighren are coming out with in 'interviews', it's really starting to boil my f***ing p**s.
Surely it's not just me that feels like County are fast becoming a reality show?
It's a shame Derek Acorah passed away, because he'd have fitted in well with this mental suggestion project.

eBay being spammed by sellers claiming to be in the UK, but when you've bought the item it comes from China or Hong Kong.
This should be outlawed, as in my experience, almost everything I've bought that comes from these places has been cheap, badly made rubbish.
The latest seller claimed to be in Dunstable GB, yet the item came from Hong Kong. Why are buyers being misled over the location of items, why can't the sellers be up front with this information?
To cap it off, I asked to exchange feedback and the seller said they'd already left me some, but had done nothing of the sort. They can kiss my arse if they think I'm leaving them any.
eBay can f*** off from now on until they get their house in order.

Pretty sure that the Consumer Rights Act covers 'misleading information' provided by sellers, Gazz? May be worth checking it out... Otherwise, there's a legal-type guy of our mutual acquaintance who will know - but he don't come cheap...

News item.
This ship in the Suez has been "partially" re-floated ! What the heck does that mean ?
Either it is floating or it isn't. A bit like being "almost unique".
