And, copying those talent show judges, someone usually says "She's made it her own" when it's more a case of 'She's made it worse"... unless you have a penchant for being slowly plucked to death... in a minor key, of course.

eBay.
An absolute rats nest of scalping c***s that needs boycotting.
It's absolutely f***ing disgusting what they knowingly allow on there. Even their 'report this item' system is deliberately rigged up so you can't report a scalper, with NO option whatsoever representing this disgusting practice.
There is no comment box to type a message in either, so you have no way of getting through to them unless you ring them.
Utter disgrace.

The Smyth's Toys website when trying to help my girlfriend's sister pre-order a PS5.
Absolutely f***ing diabolical.
Countless times refreshing the checkout process, countless times entering her card details, countless times having to refresh the page because the site has crashed, countless times having to use their sh*tty 'find address' system only to be told after a long pause that I'll have to enter it manually, countless times entering it manually, countless times refreshing the page because the site has crashed ...... AGAIN..... two f***ing hours this went on, until finally the f***ing things had sold out.
To all these online stores announcing "limited stock available tomorrow" - SORT YOUR f***ing WEBSITES OUT BEFORE YOU START A SURGE YOU BUNCH OF USELESS tw##s.
I managed to get one through Argos last week, as did my girlfriend's other sister this week, but FFS, why can't these sellers set up a f***ing queueing system on their sites that allow no more people on the queue than there are pre-order slots available, that way if you get in the queue you will know you'll get one and therefore won't need to get caught up in a f***ing free for all refresh fight to f***ing buy one and end up crashing the f***ing site altogether.
SORT IT OUT YOU ABSOLUTE f***ing MORONS.

Watching live football on the telly. Covid-19 saved me a 280 mile round trip, saving £25 in fuel, not getting home around midnight (going to bed on the same day I have to get up for work gets harder the older I get) so some plusses there but ffs! No atmosphere, no congenial conversation with those sitting around about (even though I don't know their names despite sitting alongside them for years) and no sense of involvement with the game.
I actually missed the Halifax goal because I was reading a book at the same time as watching with the commentary off so I could listen to a CD (apologies to Chris Ridgeway but I find his relentless chirruping mildly irritating).
So kudos to all those Stretford supporters who think live football is about a night in front of the telly, they've got more stamina than me.

Whatever was wrong with the co-comm audio in preseason (lack of volume and later distorting) had been fixed for the 'real' game so I was pleased with that. They're obviously putting in a lot of effort to make the broadcasts slick and I think most away sides will think we come over as very professional. DP's camera work is second-to-none and while some teams have automated cameras tracking play, it makes all the difference to have a talented person filming. I really like Sam Byrne on co-comms as he avoids hyperbole and is a good match for JK, I think. Torquay's co-comm didn't notice our first half shape and said Keane had come on in a back 3... while Maynard was mistaken for 3 other players during the game. And yes, it's really not the same without the supporters. That said, I did rise for our goals... from my computer chair. I didn't miss getting cold in the stands but that was about the only benefit for me! Let's hope we're back in as soon as possible!

The County face mask I bought from the online store.
It's too small and easily slips off my nose or mouth when I talk, offering very little coverage when compared to those disposable masks most people wear.
I had it on in work for five minutes, then it went straight back into my bag, to be replaced by the more reliable disposable ones I always carry with me.
Not very good, I'm afraid.

Mrs Herm saw a chap wearing one and said it looked too small. An eye patch it is then whenever ours arrive with the season tickets.

I ball at the fact you have to pay a 10% charge on postage and the. In the feedback they ask to rate the postage charged!!!!! I think Facebook marketplace will eventually take over from fleabay.

This is worrying as I was looking forward to receiving mine with my ST whenever they are sent out. I have been holding off buying a cloth one until the one from the club arrives. I ll 'soon' know if I have a big head. 😛

Anyone know how many minutes pre match build up there was because I missed it despite being logged in from 7pm with the test video screen. I closed that screen andogged on again and saw 2 minutes of the JG interview and then the match started. Annoying to have possibly missed this... Good to have the commentary but I since at NK's high pitched Goal, and yes SB is by far the best co commentator. As away fans also pay I think a more realistic assessment is made than County are well on top when they are not. Also I don't know why the Halifax goal was not shown in the post match highlights - I know for sure if Torquay hadn't shown these I would have been angry. As to Dan Powell - his camera work is amazing. I wouldn't like to be doing that week in week out on the gantry throughout the winter. Great that the club are doing the streaming, especially for the many exiles. It would be interesting to see how many fans living abroad are tuning in.

Yup, let's get the opponent's goal/s shown too - it's only right to do that (even if it pains us).

just shared gazz's and mrs herman's facemask opinions with my brother who as soon as he heard about them advised he wanted mine to wear at work. looks like there's not too much time pressure on sending out the season tickets and therefore the masks. probably be dealing with covid 21 by the time we get them.
