This is sort of TV, given that you can get YouTube through your TV via Amazon firestick, Virgin media tivo or your smart tv etc. If, like me, you're a fan of the ex-Wheeler Dealers genius, Edd China, you'll be pleased to know that he has a new YouTube restoration programme on the way - it's called 'Built By Many'. Rather than waffle on myself about it, here is the link to their website: builtbymany.com/

watched the 'alan partridge' documentary last night and really enjoyed it - more than i did most of the shows it was about. i've always preferred coogan in other things like 'saxondale' and 'the trip' even though there were funny bits in 'partridge'. anyway, the doc featured the 'day today' gang and little illuminations like michael at the hotel was originally going to be from leeds, then went clear geordie, before the final indecipherable geordie.

I'll have to get that on iPlayer, mate. I'm with you on 'Saxondale' and 'The Trip', mate - Partridge is a genius creation, but those two shows have the edge as Coogan's finest pieces of work.

'Richard Hammond's Big' on Discovery makes for excellent viewing.
I'm just watching the episode about the new Spurs stadium, how it was built and how the pitch splits and slides away to reveal an NFL pitch underneath!
Definitely worth a watch!

I watched that last night too. Have to admit, I'm finding Hammond rather irritating these days, but the programme is generally very good!

I think working with the other two helped him develop that irritating smarmy side, so maybe he's a little more bearable because he's working on his own? I've noticed a distinct lack of Genesis 'gags' and things that "got worse" after 'accidentally' being set fire to in this series, which has probably helped!

There'll never be another Cloughie.
Still sorely missed.

There'll never be another Cloughie. Still sorely missed. He was pure entertainment and should have had a go at England manager.

We are really enjoying watching The Repair Shop.
Gentle on the eyes and brilliant watching pure craftspersons do their day job so lovingly.
No fuss, no razzamatazz and crummy jokes or innuendos.
