We made it to the play-offs then with a lack lustre performance against Hartlepool. No favours from Tranmere then but we could have scored 9 but for an outstanding piece of goalkeeping from Ben Killip.

So on we go with a double header against local rivals Salford who nearly slipped out of the last play-off spot by losing to Gillingham. One goal separating them from a good finishing sprint by Mansfield.
