One game too many over such a short period of time imo. The game at Halifax Town was suggestive of the type of performance to expect today and so it proved. Not too disappointed tbh and a week to recover their mojo for next Saturday.

You too? I've had that bad over the past few weeks myself, so much so that I've been getting out of bed like an old * man most mornings! had a bad back in october, and while it sorted itself out eventually i was getting these shooting pains down the back of my thigh fairly regularly. then a couple of days before christmas it was in my ankle and across the top of my foot. so painful that i didn't sleep at all on christmas day night or boxing day night (and certainly shouldn't have driven back from my mum's earlier on boxing day night). painkillers didn't touch it, but it was less bad on the friday and i got in at the doctor's early (unusually easy when you haven't been to sleep).
if you think it's sciatica i'd get it checked because apparently normal painkillers aren't very effective for nerve pain and although he gave me medication he said it would normally be a week or two before it would have any effect. i was just lucky that i'd already had the worst two days. if you wait for it to escalate (like me) you might end up in the sh*t. i haven't had a day off work sick since 2001 but i was in no doubt i'd have had to if it had still been like it was over christmas. i felt about 89 rather than 49.

Mine is just in my left hip and bum cheek at the moment, but when it kicks off I can barely walk it's that bad. By the sound of it, though, I've not got it anywhere near as bad as you, mate, but I'll definitely keep tabs on it. If it gets any worse I really will have to do something about it.Thanks for the advice, mate, I hope yours gets better soon.

I had severe sciatic pain 20 years ago. Finished up having a laminectomy where they take part of the bone and disc away to reduce the pressure on the nerve. Invasive but brilliant surgery.
Not had a problem with it since. I know what the pain is like and I feel for you. You feel like having your leg amputated but that wouldn't solve the problem. It's referred pain and you would still feel it.

We had enough scoring chances to at least secure a draw. The problem was we didn't put them away. In the first half they were by far the best team we have played this season. Dorking should provide a break fo the batteries to be recharged.
