A break from league action this coming Saturday - and the first step on a potential path to go one stage further in the Trophy than we did last term!
Post your thoughts and predictions here...

Another Netfest at EP.
Could do without the goals against though.
Another home tie on Monday will do very nicely,

That was a poor performance against very moderate opposition. We repeatedly gave the ball away unnecessarily, Festus Arthur being the principle culprit although to be fair to him, passing back to him so that he could get the move started seemed to be a deliberate policy. Unfortunately his repertoire doesn't extend much beyond the hopeful punt down the field. The front line were fairly static for much of the game although when we ran at them their back line looked particularly fragile. Hey ho, we're in the hat for the next round so who knows and I think the ability to win when you're not playing well is supposed to be one indication of a decent side.

We should have scored about 5 in the first half and generally made hard work of it. Credit to the players for carving out a win which we'd have expected on paper considering Blyth's lowly position in the Conf North. Where will we be in January if we dont extend the loans and sign Garrett up?

Thanks for the reports, chaps. Chorley was my final attendance of the calendar year so fingers crossed for a good Christmas and New Year set of results and I look forward to seeing the boys in 2020!
