Easy one: Ash Palmer.
His return made all the difference, following our poor run, and inspired those around him in defence to perform well, too. The interception the made to get in front of Jarvis and deal with a squared ball from the right prevented an almost-certain goal - the very kind, in fact, that we have been conceding over the last three games without him.
Welcome back to the man with the magic hat!

I'm going for Adam Thomas - seemed to have a really great game going down the right. I do agree with Macc somewhat - but I think that just having Ash back there improved the confidence of the whole defence so they all played quite well

Palmer for me - its no coincidence we kept a clean sheet. Thomas a close second mostly on his second half performance.

A welcome and timely return sees Palmer take this one. He was also named in the NL Team of the Week, an accolade which comes a close second to our votes!
