Devastating news. When F1 fans around the world talk about who is/was the greatest, then this guy should be right at the forefront of every discussion - an incredible talent and an extraordinary man. If you don't agree, then I advise you to go read his life story. F1 has suffered a massive, massive loss today. Hopefully he can now enjoy that "p**s up" with James Hunt. RIP, Niki.

back racing, still bandaged up, six weeks after that devastation at the nurburgring. won the championship the following year too. now that is proper grit for you. anybody who has a passing interest -and mine is only very passing- in motorsport should watch both 'rush' and 'senna' - two films capturing the talents of titans of the sport who are no longer with us, one as a recreation, one as documentary, but both excellent.
