Three wins or nine draws should do it! 🙂

As it's County, we all know that Clarke will hit a 30-yard winner today... before limping off and being declared injured for the 28 days Garratt can't be recalled. Jackson will be recalled, even if there's no recall in the contract, and Cowan will be left thinking "I am never again going to let a manager give me the number 3 shirt. NEVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!"

What a statement of intent! Also of significance is Jim praising the new Director of Football - a good start to the working relationship, and long may it continue if it leads to this kind of result.

Regardless of what can be eeked out from the remainder of this season, the creation of a solid spine has clearly started with the signings of Hogan and Maynard. They both fit the more physical profile of the NL and FL and are genuine threats from set-pieces. Add in the experience of games at the level and above, as well as promotion, and they should prove to be astute additions indeed.

Sounds like a good signing and surely an upgrade on what we've got.
Seems funny to have a big quote from the director of football. I can't imagine there was much more to this deal than Jim saying "I'll call a bloke I know from my last job".

Although on a serious note I thought he looked like a good football player who was comfortable on the ball and could see a pass better than many of his team mates!
In Jim we trust.
