Brosnan, Pierce - Played Bond in 4 films me thinks? Indeed he did, and it would have beeen at least six Bond movies had those Remington Steele anoraks got themselves a f**king life! That said, although at the time I wanted Brosnan in after Sir Roger, I'm glad Dalton got the gig, as he turned out to be a top 007. Brosnan did not always get the best scripts, but he is one of the best Bonds. Goldeneye was his best, a fantastic movie following a six-year wait. Ironically, and this is my own observation and not taken from any other 007 source, the movie starts off with 007 on a mission in Russia in 1986, the year Pierce was originally contracted to play Bond.

Which leads me nicely onto this one: Bloopers: I know it's difficult to avoid because the stunt crew have to be there to ensure the safety of the stuntman Wayne Michaels, but I'm still proud of this spot just now when I started watching Goldeneye: Incidentally, Wayne Michaels also had a small cameo in the movie, that's him on the left: ...playing one of the Tiger Helicopter pilots shot by Xenia Onatopp before she nicked it and went postal at Severnaya. P.S. Yes, I am!

Casino Royale: Daniel Craig arrives to give a welcome kick up the backside to the franchise following the absolute pig that was 'Die Another Day'.
Great opening sequence, great movie & a great Bond!

And in the music corner:
Carly Simon, whose 'Nobody Does It Better' was the first Bond theme to go under a different title from that of the film it soundtracked ('The Spy Who Loved Me', in this case).
An ok-ish, Radio 2 staple, power ballad - and certainly a notch above Adele's 007 curtain-raiser - although, in the wider musical world, it did get somewhat sidelined during the 1977 Summer of Punk.
Thunderball Rating: 3.

Another Bond Girl: Tiffany Case
In Diamonds Are Forever it is stated that she was named after her (accidental) birthplace, Tiffany & Co., where her parents were going through a choice of wedding bands, to which Bond dryly jokes that she was lucky that it hadn't happened at Van Cleef & Arpels.

Cleese..... John Cleese: Will go down in the annals of 007 history as the 'Q' who brought us the invisible car!
