Some good away days there. Alas, I have royally screwed up, and have accidentally booked our family holiday for the first week of the season. Since we're off to near Evesham, I was rather hoping we might get Gloucester away in that first week. Bugger.

6 in the playoffs next season: Although it'll give us a better chance of making the playoffs, I think it's an absolutely bloody stupid idea. Are they trying to rub our noses in our near miss? What next, extending it into mid-table? Why not have TWO automatic spots and then four in the playoffs? f**king Clowns.

15/16: Tamworth (7th) 8 pts behind 5th. 13/14: Brackley (7th) 11 points off 5th.
You can certainly see the potential for a bit of a nonsense happening the further you extend the playoffs.

Hopefully, Darlington may not be the threat they were this season. Gray wanted investment, the potential investor (former chairman) he sought it from is not liked by the fans so once public the abuse started. Investor's now withdrawn his offer to invest and Gray is apparently considering his future. Can't be a good scenario for trying to keep and attract players. As for Halifax going up, at least that removes the stronger side (of them and Chorley). Since a number of this year's squad seems to have at least a year to run on their deals (inc. Denton), I imagine they'll stay P/T or go 'hybrid'? Well, players are now committing on 2-year deals (including forwards Mark Beck and... you guys... Nathan Cartman) so it looks like they'll be up there again after all. No offence to Darlo but *damn*.

yeah. there's enough potential even as it currently stands.

Hmm - indeed, matey. I note on Twitter that they have already been getting some stick from Hartlepool fans, for heralding the club's drop into non-league with a discontinued badge, too. Shoddy...

I'm convinced this kind of thing is done on purpose to piss off former Football League clubs like us. Morons.

If that isn't corrected by the time our fixtures are announced, I'm removing all mention of the conference and indeed their sponsors, Vanarama from our 'Next at EP...' banner.
