i don't have any problems posting smilies with 'post quick reply' - is it a browser thing or something else do you think gazz?

Could be, mate. What I do know is that the Quick reply toolbar is not part of the generic Proboards template, so any issues could well be a result of that, with various browser platforms muddying the waters even further.
What I do know is the safe bet is to use the 'Reply' option, as the drag and drop works fine for all smilies, whereas in Quick reply mode the drag and drop is sloppy and when you click on the smilies some won't work unless you delete the space either side of the smiley code. It's a known issue, but something that the author of the Quick reply toolbar plugin will have to address in an update.

Yep, I think you're right, ars. Firefox seems to work better with the smiley when using the click to add method, but drag and drop is still sloppy. Chrome has problems with both it seems, but I hate FF at the moment, I'm having a few issues with it. I'll try Chrome now with the same smilies in my next post.......

It seems that they are now working with the click to add method in Quick reply, but the drag and drop is still a problem. You can still only drag and drop when using the 'reply', 'edit' and 'quote' options though. I think the best thing to do is just leave everyone to their own devices with them, and should anyone have any issues we'll try to resolve them as they occur. f***ing computers.

Both are good browsers, but it's all down to personal preferences, I just find Chrome to be quicker and cleaner looking. Internet Exploder should only ever be used to download either of the above, and then left to gather dust.

yep. i've had a problem with a .dll file and itunes. i eventually cracked and had a go at regcure pro for twenty quid. it's fixed a few things, but not the .dll issue it was specifically recommended for. oh, and apparently you have a fancy new avatar. i can only see 'gazza007 avatar' where the avatar should be!

I've just noticed that in FF, odd! It's just a random image generator site: signavatar.com/Christ knows why it's not working in FF. I repeat: f***ing computers!
