What has been happening recently that you should know about?
The Guardian Account and Membership- A Notable Double Whammy !
Well.... first off confirmation of the fact that, following a massive contribution of circa £6k from the Hatters Half, further contributions from other events, the Cheadle End Cabin, the Spinning Top, Cryptic, and a £1.3 k transfer from the General Account, the Guardian Account now stands at an unprecedented high of £29000, and membership is on the rise too being 436 as of yesterday.
Wellspring Appeal- Thank You !
Good news indeed … next .....a very big thank you to all who supported our appeal for food, toiletries and warm clothing items for the Wellspring. Over the two games against Salford we were in the Cheadle End Cabin , and you responded magnificently and we have a decent quantity of donated bags in all three categories to deliver to the charity, probably Sunday of this week. Once again….thank you !
We will of course be in the Cabin from 1.15 to 2.30 this Saturday for the FA Cup game so…if you missed us and have a donation we will be glad to add this to our fantastic pile !
Memorabilia in support of the Guardian Account.
You will of course also be able to donate or purchase County memorabilia at the Cabin, or renew your membership, and our newly acquired display rail will enable greater access, outside the cabin, to the great stock of shirts we have on offer mostly at £10 each( £15 if signed/ named)!.
We can report that ,thus far this season, contributions via the Cheadle End Cabin .to the Guardian Account total £635.17 , which means we are on schedule to raise circa £1600 via this route this season.
Supporters Cooperative AGM.
The AGM is almost upon us, and members will already have received a letter from our Independent Secretary along with the formal Call for Nominations. Between now and 17 November, you will be receiving further material relevant to the AGM and we urge members to attend the Bungalow at 7.30pm on the 17 November and play a full part in the decisions taken.
Match Ball Sponsorship- Members Draw.
The Supporters Cooperative wanted to do something tangible to help the Club, and with this in mind, have agreed to be match ball sponsors for the Kidderminster game on Saturday 29 October. As part of the sponsorship deal, we get 8 corporate places at the game, and the plan is to do a draw on the 24th October ( at our next board meeting).
We will draw 4 members names and they will each be given 2 tickets to be our guests on the day, the corporate deal is pre match meal with drinks, seats in the directors box. The 4 winners will be notified on 25th October.
