Weekend and Beyond......
Another weekend beckons along with another visit from Bradford Park Avenue to Edgeley Park, tomorrow( Saturday 26 November).
As usual before the game you can again catch Supporters Cooperative board members in the Cheadle End Cabin where you can seek information, renew your membership or support the Guardian Account by either buying or donating a shirt or other item of County memorabilia . As usual the cabin will be open between 1.30 and 2.30.
Help the Hatters will be in the Bungalow pre-match, from around 1 o'clock, where you can support the Players Fund by buying a pint. The Pods will also be out as usual within the ground.
After the game, a visit to the Spinning Top ( near the Garrick Theatre on the A6) would be a neat idea as the landlord Mike is again donating 10% of takings between 5 and 8pm to the Guardian Account.
Later on Saturday ( around 9) the Spinning Top welcomes Tom Hingley ( ex Inspiral Carpets) and he is a terrific performer so , why not head off to the ST after the game , enjoy some real ale with fellow County supporters, and then maybe stay on to watch a class act! County Co-Hop has sold well following its introduction earlier in the season and you can find out why on Saturday.
Also at the Spinning Top....Friday 25 November you can catch the Bridgewater Blues Band, whilst on Sunday 27th Phil Robinson is hosting ` Phil Robbie's Indie Sunday'. All these events are free entry !
Upcoming over the Xmas period is the Supporters Coop 5 A Side Tournament at the Stockport Power league on 27 December. Looks like just the ticket for getting some of that Xmas over indulgence run off. ( Poster below)
And Finally.... a reminder that the elusive County Legend Tommy Sword is in town and booked for the pre match hospitality session at Edgeley Park before the game with Darlington on 21st January against Darlington.
This is sure to be a sell out so contact Simon.dawson@stockportcounty.com or the Club Shop pronto to ensure you are not disappointed.

Congrats to Help the Hatters Team & a Word on Last Nights Game.
Well done Ed, Jules, David, Barbara, Kate and gaffer John G, for providing a truly first class service in the Legends Lounge at last night's game.
It was massively cold , so much so that the game was abandoned early in the second half.
The free refreshments the Help the Hatters team provided were invaluable and well received by the admittedly small crowd.
The game was 2-0 in Stalybridge's favour when the referee called it all off. With their first team game called off earlier in the day Stalybridge were able to field a strong side against a young County line up. The extra pace and strength of the visitors took County by surprise and they were 2 down in a matter of minutes of the start.
However.....under the watchful eye of James Gannon, the County side, in which Scott Duxbury excelled in the advanced left sided role he pitched up in on Saturday, gradually fought their way back into the game nullifying any early advantage the strong Stalybridge side had gained, and they were surely disappointed when the referee brought an early end to proceedings. .

The Stockport County Appearance Number scheme guardians are looking for someone to join their small group to help in the preparation of the player's certificates. Specifically they are looking for anyone who thinks they can help prepare the old fashioned wax seals that are affixed to the certificates to authenticate them. There is no cost involved apart from your time and all it really needs is a steady hand and a good eye for detail. So ......if you think you can help or even if you would just like to have a go please drop the SCAN team an email to scan@gogogocounty.org and they will arrange to meet up so you can have a try.
On behalf of the SCAN scheme guardians
