Cheers for the updates boys, I've updated the squad list and it's looking quite formidable now!
Just wish we could get updates on Big Kay, Ellison and Hurst so if they aren't staying Gannon can look towards someone else!

Ellison has done a decent job recently in midfield but still think he's a bit lightweight. I'f put him down as a developing player. Good job i'm not a football manager.....

me too ceef. i was more impressed with him when we just saw him in bits and bobs earlier in the season. tough for young players when they've got a run in the side to impact the game enough to look worth that run in the side. there was also a collective slump in form in the last few games of the season - from easter weekend on really, bar a couple of good results like the win at alfreton. not really a young player's job to dig his club out of the mire when they're not doing well.

Cheers for posting, benno. Clearly one that Jim's looking to develop. As always, he's thinking about tomorrow, not just today.
Jimbo should be given a job for life at County, nobody knows what this club needs to succeed better than him.

Agree with that, gazza.
Pleased for Ellison, too. Excluding perhaps Odejayi and loanees, he appeared (to my eyes) the one player without a contract making a genuinely concerted effort for the cause in County's last few games. That will not have gone unnoticed by Jim.

I think these players will be called up to the first team sooner rather than later if JG is only have a squad of 16 players and the occasional loanee...

Looks like promising signings, so far. Good news.
Sadly though, it seems that Kristian Dennis's contract with County has expired following Neil Young's decision to loan him to Macc last season; apparently he's signed for League One Chesterfield on a free transfer! Is this true?
Gutted.......
