The PR machine was put into action pretty quickly to cover this clusterf**k after Mike and Jim tweeted. Sickening to see such a disregard to our history and our legends. I thought the anger from Gannon’s sacking would dissipate over time but it just hasn’t. I’ve fallen out of love with the club. I think I’m done, guys.I agree with all of that, but I honestly think it's a case of 'same here' for me regarding your closing statement, mate. I just don't think I identify with the club anymore, it isn't the County I have loved all these years. Like a relationship with a woman, we've been through tough phases before, but this time it doesn't seem like we're going to get through it. I've stopped spending money on her, but I don't know how much longer I'm going to stick around.

Just when you think it couldn't get worse, this happens.
And when you think couldn't get even worse, they issue a statement which starts...
"After miscommunication on social [sic] channels..."
Which is blatantly accusing Mike and Jim of lying on their twitter posts.
Maybe it was a miscommunication between Jim, Mike and the club, but either way David Ancell (Brand and Comms Director) is hardly covering himself in glory. When the alternative to lying is incompetence, its not a great place to be, eh?
Next it will be announced that Mike has decided to step down as a life president. I guarantee it.

Nobody epitomises what County is about more than Flynny and Jim, but the new regime really don't seem to care.
I think they're trying to reboot the club, like EON did with Bond and Casino Royale. Trouble is, instead of getting Daniel Craig, we've got f***ing Woody Allen.

How fitting the Club's reactive statement on a pre-planned museum move should infer the problem was not with the Club's unwillingness to communicate its plans to supporters but with those pesky legends on Twitter. Glad to see such high levels of accountability.

Glad to see such high levels of accountability. Horrible people, mate. I saw a post on YB last night suggesting that there was talk of Stott being less than impressed with the reaction to what he's done so far. If this is true, then so what? Mark, you can't buy fans off with bullshit and a few licks of paint. When you sh*t on Jim, you sh*t on me. If you don't like it, you can always p**s off and stick some cladding up elsewhere. Pulling the plug on the monstrosity you're running now wouldn't mean sh*t to me, because the club I've supported for decades doesn't exist anymore - I mourned its passing weeks ago.

I saw Jim’s tweet yesterday. It is truly staggering. After working hard to bring the fans inside initially it is now, what fans? They will be playing in an empty stadium

This is appalling. Stott/Wilson are happy to erase 138 years of history. This is year Zero and we are meant to be overjoyed that a saviour has come to rescue the club....
Honestly, who is advising Stott?! Everything he has done has alienated the fans and destroyed trust.
I am in two minds about if I will watch County in person again once the grounds are opened up again. I think Stott and Wilson may be in for a shock when attendances are half what they were under Gannon. We shall see...
Phoenix club anyone?!

Knowing what I know now, I'd sooner have stayed as we were and treaded water in the National League with Jim than see County become the soulless, corporate entity that they are now.
I genuinely mean that.

Another slick video but I would have preferred to have heard the scarf being sung. #countyculture

7 games into SR's tenure (when we had taken 9 points from 21 and not scored for 4 games) the Club felt it had to incentivise results.
Well played to the lads for taking care of the bus company chap.

Seats from the Cheadle End are being replaced. All the old ones are available to be collected.

Most of my best County memories were either seen from the Pop Side or Railway End, but it's not a bad idea if a season ticket holder wants to save their own seat for, erm, posterity!
Sorry, I couldn't resist!

Didn't want to flood a match thread too much, so I'll post it here.
I for one do not want SMBC to sell EP to Mark Stott. Why? Because I don't trust him or the people he's brought into my club.
Exhibit A: Stott and Wilson publicly backed Jim on TV and in the media in general, Stott actually backed him live on TV during the West Ham game, then he allows Simon the snake Wilson to sack him shortly after.
Trustworthy enough to be given the ownership of our home? Is he f***.
Mark my words, it will be a bad day for County if Mark Stott gets hold of EP.
