Afternoon everyone
There will be an important CH-related announcement in this weekend's programme article, but we wanted you fine people, our members, to hear the news first.
In June, County Heaven will once again be teaming up with Kidscan, our adopted charity, for another crazy venture - and it will be our biggest yet!
Once the season (and Maccy's exam period) is over, the two of us will be setting off on a road trip of epic proportions. We will be leaving EP early on the Saturday morning (exact date to be confirmed, but it will be in June) and we will be travelling to every Conference North ground - as at the 2015/16 season - in one weekend, returning back to EP on the Sunday evening. This is a road trip of over 1,200 miles in two days!
Nearer the time, I will be contacting all 22 clubs, hoping that we can rely upon their support and, more importantly, donations as we travel around (the majority of) the country. We will be calling on you wonderful Heaveners to help us, and if you happen to live near to one of the grounds, we'd love to see you there for some support as we visit. A full schedule of our expected times at each ground will be posted in advance, with an overnight stop planned in Norwich (so that we can stay with my in-laws for free!).
A Just Giving page will be set up a few weeks beforehand for donations, and we will be involving as many press as possible to spread the word. We hope to make this our most successful Kidscan campaign yet!
Thanks
Sandy and Maccy

Good luck, I guess! Even if you wouldn't let me and Shrops join in! We may still just follow you in a different car haha!

Good luck gents.
See you at AFC Fylde. Pint in the pub waiting for you. We can always find a bed (and breakfast if you are lucky) for you in FY5 if you fancy a reverse journey option.

Better make it a soft drink for me Lennie, as Fylde will be mid-morning on the Saturday with plenty of driving still to do that day!

Two lemonades it will be then. Fylde's new ground or old (the new one is only 2 minutes off the M55 reducing your round journey by a good 25 minutes). Thank goodness Barrow and Workington or not in the League !!

That would be mine. But it does mean I get to control the stereo. It'll be a long trip anyway, without Maccy bringing his ABBA collection along with him.

I'd rather stump up the money myself - but thanks for the gesture!
