I've just noticed that I had the wrong embed code on your custom Podcast page, binny, which was the individual code for the Stopforth episode only - I've now altered it so that it will hopefully have the latest episode at all times from now on. Cheers Gazz, appreciate that.

Anyone having the same trouble as I am listening to this podcast on mobile via the dedicated CH page, please click on the 'can't see player' link underneath until I can get around to resolving the issue.
I just don't have the time to be tinkering too much with the forum lately, so it's going to have to go in the 'pending' tray for now.

Hi everyone, only me. I've not been on this or any other messageboard for a long time. Nick has been looking after that department - but I feel it's only fair we should be all inclusive. Here's hoping you'll have me back The podcast itself went quiet for a bit, and we were thinking of jacking it in - just around the time we did the World Cup Special in 2018. Anyway, we haven't and it's now going strong again as we have merged with the TTP podcast and we have sponsors! Anyway, let me know your feedback if you'd be so kind. Cheers - Russ

For anyone wanting to listen to the first couple of 'Dark Days' podcasts, they are on Youtube: www.youtube.com/channel/UCkb2_a4D1yry4m1XQ0SNAjQ/videosAt the time of posting, parts 3 and 4 are on Spotify and Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/scarfbergarawore) The podcasts are always an enjoyable listen. The only thing to be aware of, if there are young ears in the house, is that it's marked 'explicit' with some of the language - not a criticism but obviously worth knowing for those with kids!

I would really like to listen to them in work, I'm sneaking my Bluetooth buds underneath my noise reducing cans tonight, so are the first two only available on YouTube?

I think that's the case at the moment, gazz, due to the costs involved having a lot of material on the other platforms.

Knowing how much you like to use colourful language I would be careful listening to them at work! They may provoke an outburst or two. Scary and staggering what some people got up to in the name of our club

I think that's the case at the moment, gazz, due to the costs involved having a lot of material on the other platforms. Yeah it's the costs. On SoundCloud we're limited to 6 hours of content, so I had to come up with a zero cost way to make the popular ones available. YouTube was the suggested answer. I won't be putting any older episodes on as we definitely contravened copyright laws with the music we used. You'll notice new episodes have generic music. Also, we got 3 sponsors so I splashed out on some decent kit, so the sound 'should' be a lot better. Feedback welcome. Cheers for listening guys! Really appreciate it.

Sandy gets a mention in part one! Really? How come? The march to Leonard Curtis with Dave Schofield, mate.

I was listening to part one on my breaks in work last night, mate and it's been staggering listening to the stuff that went on. I've only just woken up now, but I'm not in tonight, so I'm going to grab myself some breakfast and a coffee and continue with part one. Nice work, Binny! Just one small gripe, though. Greg Hall was the guy who went into Leonard Curtis with Dave, so his memory of that march must still be a little hazy, it must have been the painkillers he was taking for his back! Seriously, though, it was definitely Greg who went in with him, mate. Greg was a 606er at the time with a good few of us Heaveners and put a lot of his own time into helping Dave, so it was a little disappointing that he's credited a yellowboarder with this instead. As I say, though, mate, it's still a great listen, just tell Dave to get his finger out!
