Right, since I'm not in the office on Monday, you get a couple of extra days to mull over County Benno's offerings for Week J.
Over to Benno...
Jellyfish - They come on our beaches just to cause kids to throw stones on them to make them splat, then in the sea they just try and sting us.
Junk Mail - What right do companies have to bombard us with paperwork selling ridiculous stuff that we would never use or want to use? When I buy a paper I don't want to open it and be buried by waste paper.
Justice System - This is so wrong in my opinion and needs a total overhaul, it annoys me so much when convicted criminals get released early from their sentences for good behaviour. If they were good, they wouldn't have committed the crime in the first place. Also, why do so many just get a slap on the wrist and not custodial sentences when crimes are committed? What is in place to deter these people committing crime in the first place?
Thanks to Benno for getting these to me nice and early. Over to you to vote.

I'm voting for junk mail to start us off. Nicely swerved there, Mr Law-talking.......guy. Justice system for me. On the flip side of Benno's example, I've sat on a jury and some of my peers in the deliberating room treated it like a f**king kangaroo court. As a result I feel someone was unjustly sent down the road. I won't say anymore in case it gets me in trouble, aside from never again. Next time I get jury service I'm going to get myself arrested.

Justice system, too many repeat offenders just get bailed instead of a harsher punidhment (electrocuted, having concrete feet made, etc etc) - make prison a right nasty affair so they don't want to go back!! Justice system for me!

Justice System. A few years ago we had an attempted burglary during the night on our house but when the alarm went off he legged it. The thing is he'd done a few houses in the area on the same night and actually dropped a woman's necklace in our house when running off. The guy was actually caught an hour later walking down the street with a flatscreen TV and laptop under his arms (not the brightest thief then!!) and arrested. We were informed by the police they they had driven him around the local area and told him that the more houses he confessed to burgling the shorter his sentence would be. We later found out this is because the police can they add all these to their "case solved" pile making their figure look better!! Unreal!!!

That is shocking, what if he'd done more houses than the maximum sentence allowed, does the law then afford him sufficient free burglaries to make up the deficit?! Absolute lunacy.

It's stupid mate, if he had any common sense he would of admitted to more than he actually did to get a shorter sentence!!

Good selection, benno.
I usually try and take account of the bigger picture when casting my vote - but, having once been stung by a jellyfish and been temporarily rendered unable to walk, those vicious gelatinous predators will cop it from me this week!

Whilst I understand and accept your arguments about the justice system we could not just remove it. Reform - yes undoubtably
Junk mail, all in all you get some real bargains from them, as well as lots of interesting fast food restaurants!
For me the jellyfish has to go, what does it offer? It is just a blob. It has no bones, it just floats around stinging innocent people for no reason at all. Be gone jellyfish

Whilst I understand and accept your arguments about the justice system we could not just remove it. Fantastic point, Duds. With that in mind, let's refer to it as 'The current justice system', with a view to replacing it with a fairer one should this one end up in the vault.

Justice system for me! Glad you're not the prison guv MHB ; No seriously I hate junk mail (paper copy and emails) and probably most of it ends up in a bin unread, and not forgetting a huge waste of trees. Courts - for me life should mean life, or a 10 year sentence should mean 10 years, none of this get out in half for good behaviour. Jellyfish - reminds me of Machrihanish beach full of washed up jellyfish back in my teens. An amazing site but of course some yob picked up a beach and splattered one... not a pretty sight. Junk mail just edges it.

Junk mail just helps to fill my recycling bin, I do object to the Royal Mail being paid to delivery it. Bad enough when creepy folks shove it through the door.
Jelly fis annoy me when they come in droves on Hattie's/Tommy's beach making a daily walk a bit of a hazard.
But it has to be our present judical system. I know we can't keep filling up the overcrowded prison but there are some scrots that just need taking out of society. How about shipping them all of to a deserted island and leaving them there. A bit like the French used to do in the 19th century.

Justice needs to get it for me. I was mugged in 2006. I waa lucky but a friend got stabbed. He was okay but it could've killed him if it was any deeper...!
The guys punishment...6 years! His served time...4 months!
4 months for robbery, assault and attempted murder!
