crikey! proper brick that one! mine was from about 1998, so you can already see the progression in shrinking them down. after that first, chunky motorola, i had a 3210 like the rest of the world, and then the tiny 8210.

Some iPhone 6 users reporting phones warping after being in pockets...
Was on C4 news with a guy from Geek.com
Advice from Apple is to take the affected phone to their store.
Not sure how prevalent this issue is ...

I use an iphone but I really do not like windows 8. I don't want an apps based menu. The start menu has worked fine for years so why remove it. Microsoft tells us their market research backed the move to windows 8. Questionable how effective that was in the face if the massive backlash against it. Thanks for posting this 007

I think this article was written over a year ago when there were certainly issues. I bought a laptop towards the end of the year and took the free update to Windows 8.1 which addressed many of those issues. I'd been working with XP on the desktop but had no trouble with the transition.

My son uses it, Archie, and he says it's a pile of sh*te. There have been heaps of compatibility issues with various games and software. Of course some people will find it easier to user than others depending on what they use it for. For instance, there's a difference between using a PC to play high end games and using it to spend every waking hour trying to debunk and disagree with everything you read on football forums.

Wouldn't dream of it, Gazza. On the other hand, when someone puts up an article from May 2013 with no further explanation, I can only pass on my own more recent low end experience for the benefit of the rest of us old f@rts who think that angry birds are the ones who didn't get a last dance at the disco.

The news that your son still has issues with the OS is interesting though especially for the gamers. I've read somewhere that they're looking towards a Windows 9 which concerns me but we'll see what happens.
