Another important factor I forgot to add regarding the set storage v expandable storage issue, and that's audio formats. Most devices now support FLAC format (vastly superior quality to mp3), and expandable storage is important if, like me, you prefer FLAC to mp3.
Example, a standard 192 Bit rate mp3 copy of 'Big log' by Robert Plant is just under 7mb in file size, whereas the FLAC copy comes in at just short of a whopping 32mb file. The difference in file size is not only in the type of compression, it's also in the amount, and the more compression, the greater the loss of data, and in turn sound quality. So taking into account the fact that I always cram my phone with music, and much of it is in FLAC format, I really do need the extra space an SD slot allows me.
Which brings me onto the iTunes/mp3 downloads in general, I think they're an absolute f**king con. Because no matter how you look at it, when you listen to or burn that mp3 album to CD, it won't sound as good as the manufactured CD, whereas FLAC is CD quality, and indeed 24-bit FLAC is claimed to be even better than CD.
I know I'm rambling on now, but I think it's about time the music buying public had a choice, especially if they are going to burn their downloaded music to disc.
OK, waffle over!

Apple to start replacing select iPhone 5 batteriesApple is starting to replace old iPhone 5 batteries for free, that's if you fit the criteria of the problematic batch. The Cupertino firm says iPhone 5 devices sold between September 2012 and January 2013 came with faulty batteries that drain more quickly and require frequent charging.
Apple is willing to make up for it free-of-charge, provided you have one of the faulty models within a limited serial number range
You can check if your iPhone 5 is eligible by entering its serial number on the website here, although note that Apple says it only effects a "a very small percentage" of devices.www.t3.com/news/apple-to-start-replacing-select-iphone-5-batteries
